Sometimes simple really is the best option, especially with a delicious center cut pork chop. All it needs is a simple spice rub and in about 15 minutes you have a delicious dinner. In terms of the pork chops, I opt for the boneless chops since they are lower in calories and fat, but bone-in would work as well. Bone-on chops tend to stay moister and have a bit more flavor.

  • 1.33 lb lean center cut pork chops, boneless
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • 1/8 tsp chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Mix together the spices to make a rub. Coat the pork on both sides.

To grill: Grill on medium high for about 5 minutes per side depending on thickness.

To broil: Broil 4-5 inches from heat source for about 4-5 minutes per side
