These baked crispy cauliflower are covered in spicy Bang Bang sauce will quickly become your favorite appetizer or meatless meal.

I have recently become completely obsessed with bang bang sauce. It all started at happy hour when my friend ordered bang bang cauliflower and we were literally licking the sauce off the plate. The spicy, sweet, and creamy sauce is addicting and would probably make anything taste good. While it's normally served with chicken or shrimp, I love this crispy version with cauliflower for a meatless option. Served as an appetizer of with a big salad for a main meal, you will be going back for more.

Ingredients

  • 1 U cauliflower
  • 4 U egg whites
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 5 tbsp. light mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tsp. Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 U lime, juice only
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Toss the cauliflower in egg whites and then toss with Panko breadcrumbs. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, make the sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and toss with sauce.
  4. Turn the oven up to 500 degrees. Place the cauliflower back on the pan and cook for 5 minutes until crispy and browned.
