First, click on the meal title (ex. Lunch), and either delete everything by clicking on the Trash Can or click on the X to remove individual items. Then simply drag a recipe from your Recipe Queue into the meal planner by clicking on it and dragging it into the calendar.
Add Your Own Item
Click on the meal title (ex. Lunch) and then write in the item you wish to add and click Analyze. The calories will populate automatically if it is in our database, if not you can enter them manually. Then click Add.
Just drag the same recipe into the meal planner more than once. Each time you add it, you will be asked whether you want to Add as Leftovers or Add as a New Recipe. When you choose Add as Leftovers, the extra servings you need are automatically added to the original recipe and shopping list.
Switch Meal Plans
To switch between meal plans (i.e. Healthy, Low Carb, Vegetarian), just click on the drop down Meal Plan menu at the top of the weekly calendar and choose the meal plan you would like to see.
Reset Meal Plans
If you have made changes to the meal plan and would like to return to the original plan, just click Reset at the top of the weekly meal planner.
Build a Meal Plan
To build a meal plan from scratch, simply turn off Suggestions at the top of the weekly meal plan. You can also choose this in your Settings if you would like to see a blank meal planner every week.
Add Your Own Recipe
To add your own recipes to the meal planner, click on Share a Recipe under your name in the top toolbar. Follow the directions to add your recipe there. Once it is approved, you can add that recipe to your meal plan.
Add Shopping List Items
In the Member's Area, you can add your own items to the shopping list on the Dashboard using Shopping List Quick Add or at the bottom of the Shopping List tab.
Save Recipes in Queue
Saving favorite recipes and recipes in your queue makes meal planning faster and easier. When browsing the webisite, click on + sign on the recipe photo to save to your Recipe Queue or Favorites.
Download Meal Plan
You can download your meal plan .pdf at any time by clicking on "Download Meal Plan" button on the right side bar.
