Creamy Gorgonzola Dressing

I love creamy dressings but unfortunately most of my favorites are packed with fat and calories. I have been experimenting lately with yogurt based creamy dressing and finally found a combination that still tasted just like the real thing but at a much lower points level. In this recipe I used Gorgonzola cheese but you could easily substitute blue cheese or really any pungent semi-soft cheese.

Healthy Creamy Gorgonzola Dressing
Servings: 12
Serving Size: 2 tbsp * 1 P+

Ingredients
1 cup non fat plain or Greek Yogurt
1/2 cup gorgonzola or blue cheese
1/2 tbsp olive oil
2 green onions
1/2 diced garlic clove
juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tbsp white or red wine vinegar
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions
1.Heat the olive oil in a small sauce pan and saute the green onions and garlic until fragrant and softened.  let cool.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the cheese, yogurt, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, pepper.  Stir in the green onions, garlic, and olive oil.  Serve with salads or as a great dip for veggies or chicken.

My best guess is about a week. Honestly it never lasts in my house more than a few days, so I have never completely figured it out.
