Two Ingredient Dough Bagels

These easy two ingredient dough bagels are made with Greek yogurt and self rising flour for a tasty, protein packed bagel you can customize with any flavors you like! So easy to make and they taste delicious.

What you need:

  • 1.25 cups self rising flour
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1.5 tbsp sesame seeds

Step 1 To make the two ingredient dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and yogurt, stirring until they are well combined, using a fork, if necessary. If the mixture is too sticky, add a Tablespoon of additional flour and continue to mix. Repeat as necessary until the mixture becomes a workable ball of dough. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead on a lightly floured surface, until the dough is smooth.

Step 2 Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Divide into six equal portions and roll into long ropes and then connect ends to form a circle. You can use a donut cutter if you have one.

Step 3 Place each bagel onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Lightly brush each bagel with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on the tops of each bagel.

Step 4 Bake for 12-16 minutes, until dough is cooked and lightly golden brown. Cut into halves and serve.
