What you need:

  • 1 lb Brussel sprouts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Cut the brussels sprouts in half and toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Step 2 Arrange on a baking sheet in a single layer with the cut side down. Roast in the oven for 22-28 minutes. Check the sprouts after 15 minutes, if they are browned you can shake the pan. Otherwise, just let them continue to cook with the cut side down.
