  • 8 oz. high fiber pasta
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 6 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. Brussels sprouts, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Let's Watch Brussels Sprouts Pasta with Bacon

Step 1 Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Step 2 Add the bacon to a skillet and cook until crispy. Remove bacon and all but 1 tbsp. bacon drippings.

Step 3 Add the garlic, red pepper flakes, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Add the Brussels sprouts and stir. Press down and cook for 3-4 minutes until beginning to brown. Stir and press down and cook for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned.

Step 4 Add the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the butter, lemon juice, and pasta. Top with crumbled bacon and Parmesan cheese.
