Two Ingredient Dough Bagels Recipe

Make the most amazing bagels at home using just two ingredients! Protein packed bagels made with Greek yogurt and self rising flour are delicious and easy to make.

List of Ingredients:

  • 1.25 cups self rising flour
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1.5 tbsp sesame seeds

1 To make the two ingredient dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and yogurt, stirring until they are well combined, using a fork, if necessary. If the mixture is too sticky, add a Tablespoon of additional flour and continue to mix. Repeat as necessary until the mixture becomes a workable ball of dough. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead on a lightly floured surface, until the dough is smooth.

2 Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Divide into six equal portions and roll into long ropes and then connect ends to form a circle. You can use a donut cutter if you have one.

3 Place each bagel onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Lightly brush each bagel with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on the tops of each bagel.

4 Bake for 12-16 minutes, until dough is cooked and lightly golden brown. Cut into halves and serve.
