  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Let's Watch Grilled Butternut Squash

Step 1 To prepare the squash, use a sharp vegetable peeler to remove the skin. You can also leave them on if you prefer. Then cut off the ends. Cut the squash into 1/2 inch slices. For the slices at the larger end with seeds, use a spoon to remove and discard the seeds and guts of the squash.

Step 2 Mix together the chili powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Step 3 Brush olive oil on both sides of the squash and sprinkle with spice mixture.
