What you need:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Step 1 Cut your banana into slices, about 1/4 inch thick. With a large banana, try and get 10 slices per banana,

Step 2 Place a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Make sure the baking sheet will fit in your freezer. Place half of the banana slices on the parchment paper.

Step 3 Spread a thin layer of peanut butter (or almond butter) on the banana slice. Then top with another slice of banana to make a sandwich. Freeze the banana sandwiches for about one hour until firm and frozen on the outside.

Step 4 Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds and check Then continue to microwave in 20 second increments until melted. Stir until smooth.

Step 5 Dip each banana sandwich into the chocolate so it is covered halfway. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes until chocolate has hardened.
