What you need:

  • 1 lb. tilapia
  • 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 reduced calorie hamburger buns
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced

Step 1 Pulse the fish in a food processor until just chopped.

Step 2 Combine the fish with the breadcrumbs, egg, egg white, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, basil, and onion powder.

Step 3 Form into patties. If needed place the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes before forming patties. It will help them stay together. Brush burgers with vegetable oil.

Step 4 Cook in a medium hot skillet for about 4 minutes per side. Serve on toasted buns with avocado and your favorite burger toppings.
