Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken

What you need:

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce (I used reduced sugar, choose one you love)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper

Step 1 Add everything to the slow cooker and give it a good stir until well combined,

Step 2 Cook on low for 4-6 hours until the chicken is tender and easily pulls apart. Use two two forks to shred the chicken. Let it hang out in the sauce for 15-30 minutes to soak up the extra flavor.
