Grilled shishito peppers are the best side dish and appetizer for summer! Made with just four ingredients in less than 15 minutes with tons of sauce, garnish, and serving ideas.
Step 2
To prevent the shishito peppers from falling through the grill grates, you’ll want to skewer them or use a grill basket. To skewer, thread the peppers onto soaked bamboo skewers, leaving a little space between each pepper so they can char on all sides. If you are using a grill pan or the grates are close together, you can grill these directly on the grill grates.
Step 3
Place on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes until bright green with dark grill marks. Flip and cook on the other side for 2-4 minutes until grill marks form and the peppers are tender but not soggy. If using a grill basket, shake the basket every 2-3 minutes until the shishito peppers are tender with grill marks.
