  • 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey (or 99% lean)
  • 1/3 cup whole-wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Stir together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Step 2 Whisk together the egg and tomato paste (if using).
