Two Ingredient Dough Bagels
See Recipe Now
- 1.25 cups self rising flour
- 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1.5 tbsp sesame seeds
To make the two ingredient dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and yogurt, stirring until they are well combined, using a fork, if necessary. If the mixture is too sticky, add a Tablespoon of additional flour and continue to mix. Repeat as necessary until the mixture becomes a workable ball of dough. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead on a lightly floured surface, until the dough is smooth.
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Divide into six equal portions and roll into long ropes and then connect ends to form a circle. You can use a donut cutter if you have one.
Place each bagel onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Lightly brush each bagel with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on the tops of each bagel.
Bake for 12-16 minutes, until dough is cooked and lightly golden brown. Cut into halves and serve.
