Slow Cooker Jalapeno Chicken Tacos Recipe
These incredible easy jalapeno chicken tacos will be your new favorite! Made with just a few easy ingredients in the slow cooker and served with an amazing creamy cilantro lime sauce.
List of Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast
- 8 oz. canned jalapenos (and liquid)
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. coriander
- 12 corn tortillas
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup reduced fat cream cheese
- 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup canned jalapenos (or more)
- 1/4 cup cilantro
Add the chicken, jalapenos and liquid, and spices to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 4 hours. Shred with two forks.
Meanwhile, make the sauce by adding the cream cheese, yogurt, jalapenos, and cilantro to the food processor. Season with salt and pepper. Pulse until well blended.
Serve the chicken in warmed tortillas with the creamy sauce.
