This delicious One Pot Chicken Pasta is ready in less than 30 minutes! It's a meal the whole family loves with seasoned chicken, pasta, and vegetables in a creamy tomato sauce topped with melted cheese.
Step 1
Heat the olive oil over medium high heat in a Dutch oven or large pot. Toss the chicken with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken to the hot pan and cook, stirring as needed, until browned. This will take about 5 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
Step 2
Add the onion and red bell pepper to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes until beginning to soften. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the marinara sauce and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
Step 4
Open the pot and add the mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top. Cover for 1 minute to let the cheese melt. Season with salt and pepper as needed, Serve with fresh basil.
