Hoisin Pork and Vegetable Stir Fry Recipe

Better than takeout and good for you! This stir fry made with pork tenderloin, broccoli, cabbage, and carrots in the most delicious hoisin stir fry sauce is an easy dinner that will solve your takeout cravings.

List of Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. honey (leave out for low carb)
  • 3 tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. lime juice
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1.5 tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 tbsp. Hoisin sauce
  • 1.33 lbs. lean pork tenderloin, cut into strips
  • 2 cups cabbage
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, diced or grated

1 Mix together the soy sauce, water, Hoisin sauce, sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, lime juice, garlic, and ginger.

2 Marinate the pork in this mixture for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight. You can skip this step if needed and the dish will still come out great. The marinating just packs in even more flavor.

3 When ready to cook, add the pork and marinade to a nonstick skillet. Cook until pork is browned and cook through, about 5-7 minutes.

4 Remove pork with a slotted spoon.

5 Add the vegetables to the hot pan. There will be some marinade leftover in the pan.

6 Cook until tender, about 5 minutes, adding 1-2 tbsp. of water if needed.

7 Stir the pork pack in. Cook for 30-60 seconds to warm pork. Serve.
