Make juicy and flavorful Lemon Pepper Grilled Chicken that is perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The quick and easy recipe is a crowd-pleaser and great for summer grilling.
Step 1
Make the marinade: Combine all the ingredients in a glass jar. Shake or whisk well. The marinade will separate in the fridge, so make sure to let it come to room temperature and whisk/shake to combine before using.
Step 2
Lightly pound the chicken if needed so that the chicken breasts are a uniform in size. For very thick breasts, I recommend slicing them in half horizontally so they cook evenly on the grill. Place the chicken and marinade in a non-reactive bowl, dish, or bag. Marinate the chicken for at least 1 hour, but no more than 2 hours.
Step 3
To grill: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grill is clean, Oil grates if necessary. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Grill the chicken for 3-5 minutes per side until cooked through with nice grill marks.
