These easy 2 ingredient dough garlic knots are made with just two main ingredients! Ready in less than 30 minutes, these are always a hit! Plus they have more protein than traditional garlic knots.
1
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and yogurt, stirring until they are well combined, using a fork, if necessary. If the mixture is too sticky, add a Tablespoon of additional flour and continue to mix. Repeat as necessary until the mixture becomes a workable ball of dough. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead on a lightly floured surface, until the dough is smooth.
2
Roll the dough into 6 inch long, small ropes, Tie each piece into a knot, and tuck ends under. Place each knot onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
3
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter (or olive oil), minced garlic, and basil. Brush the tops of each knot with the mixture, make sure to completely brush the top so they come out golden brown. Optional: Sprinkle with salt, dried herbs, or grated parmesan as desired
