Fresh Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles

Made simply with fresh fruit and creamy Greek yogurt, these Fruit and Yogurt Popsicles make the perfect healthy treat to enjoy on a hot day. Serve them as a tasty midday snack or a refreshing dessert after dinner.

What you need:

  • 3 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (more to taste, or honey or sweetened yogurt)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 cups fresh fruit (raspberries &blueberries)

Step 1 In a medium bowl, mix the yogurt, maple syrup, and water. Taste and make sure it has enough sweetness. For an easier preparation, you an blend the fruit into the yogurt.

Step 2 Put 1 tablespoon of yogurt into each popsicle mold. Put 2 raspberries, halved, into each mold. Put another tablespoon of yogurt into each mold. Add 3-4 blueberries on top, depending on the size of the blueberry. Repeat this process until the molds are almost full, making sure to end with a layer of yogurt.

Step 3 Insert the popsicle sticks. Freeze for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight). When ready to serve, put molds under running warm water from the tap for 10-15 secs, then carefully remove the popsicles.
