What you need:

  • 1/2 cup plain 2% Greek yogurt (or regular yogurt for a thinner sauce)
  • 1/3 cup Mexican crema (or mayonnaise or sour cream)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 canned chipotle pepper in adobo (adjust to taste, just use the sauce for less heat)
  • 1 lime, juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or 1 small clove)
  • Salt to taste

Step 1 Add everything to a food processor. Start off with just 1 chipotle pepper (or even half of one) you can always add more and chipotle peppers can be spicy.

Step 2 Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Note: If you don’t use Mexican crema, this sauce may be too thick. Think out with some hot water, olive oil, or extra lime juice.
