Heat the oil in a small saute pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and tender. Remove from heat and add to a small bowl. Alternatively you can microwave the garlic and oil for 2 minutes to soften the garlic.
Bake the chicken for 25-35 minutes until cooked through. The exact cooking time will vary based on the size of the chicken. Turn up the oven to broil. Broil for 3-5 minutes until sugar caramelizes on top. Serve with fresh squeezed lemon.
