Shrimp and Sausage Kabobs Recipe
Kabobs are one of my favorite things to make when I am looking for a quick and light meal. Usually I like to pair lots of veggies with a lean protein and broil them or cook them on the grill depending on the time of year. Usually I use a dry rub or store bough marinade to flavor everything up. My favorite version of this meal is today's sausage and shrimp kabobs. I love that combination and like to add Cajun seasoning since shrimp and sausage always make me think of Louisiana.

- 1 lb raw shrimp
- 1 U zucchini, cut into rounds
- 1 U summer squash
- 1 U red onion, chopped
- 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes

- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
