Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a skillet.
Add the onion and garlic. Cook for 4-5 minutes until onion begins to soften.
Add the beans, broth, oregano, and chile powder. Cook for about 5 minutes until beans are warm.
Turn off the heat and season with salt and pepper. Mash the beans using a spoon.
