Let’s picture the following scenario that happens almost daily in my kitchen. It’s meal time and I want to try out a new recipe, mostly likely that is stored somewhere on my phone. It may be scribbled on the notepad, a photo of a recipe I was inspired by, or a bookmark from a website. No matter the source, the following almost always occurs. Covered in whatever I am cooking, I continually find myself reaching for the phone screen to look at the recipe and covering it in cooking residue. Not a pretty site.
Step in the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro that I was given a chance to try out and suddenly these kitchen woes are solved. Using the tablet instead of my phone, I no longer have to pinch and swipe, but instead can see the whole recipe displayed on the large screen to reference at any time during the cooking process. And using the convenient kickstand in the back, I can prop it up almost anywhere in the kitchen so that I see the recipe or healthy adaptations I am planning to use from almost any angle. No more squinting at the phone or potential technology food mishaps. Win-win and I haven’t even mentioned my favorite feature yet.
So the coolest thing about the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro in addition to it’s lightweight, intuitive design and amazingly long battery life (15 hours!), is that it has a built in projector. I can’t wait to use it for movie nights outside with some yummy and healthy snacks and for at home workouts. No more missing reps while I stretch to see a small screen. Now I can project the workouts on the wall and see it from anywhere in the room. So excited about this.
To give you an idea of how I used the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro at home, I wanted to share a new recipe for Muesli I have been loving for breakfast lately. Using my new Lenovo, I started browsing for inspiration for my morning muesli and ended up being inspired by apples, cashews, chia seeds, and oats for my first attempt at muesli. Personally I like my muesli with lots of liquid and like it to sit for awhile in the liquid so it’s almost like overnight oats, but creamier. Some people like it crunchier, so if that’s you, just add the milk before serving. It’s delicious either way. You can mix up the fruit, nuts, and seeds to fit your palate or use what you have on hand.
