I probably eat this about once a week for breakfast or a snack. I just love the combination of the warm sweet apple, creamy yogurt, and crunchy nuts. I also love that I can make it in under 5 minutes. Now it isn't a true low carb recipe since apples have a lot of carbs and fat free yogurt packs some carbs as well. You could make it lower carb by using berries instead of the apple and using a full fat yogurt or low carb yogurt instead. No matter how you make it, it's a great filling treat that you are sure to make often once you try it.

  • 1 U packet Stevia
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts

Place the chopped apple, stevia, and cinnamon in a bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, or until apple is soft and cooked.

Top with yogurt and walnuts.
