Everything about this recipe feels off to me combine some lemon cake mix and cool whip into a super sticky dough, chill for 30 minutes, and magically get melt in your mouth lemon deliciousness… not possible… but somehow it happens. Honestly, you just have to try this recipe. I learned it from southern friend a few years back who wouldn’t tell me the ingredients until after I tried one (well really three). Just try it.

  • 16 oz. fat free Cool Whip
  • 1 U box lemon cake mix (15.25 oz.)
  • 2 U eggs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the eggs and cool whip. Add the lemon cake mix and blend well. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. The dough will be pretty sticky.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Place the powdered sugar in a small bowl. Drop into the powdered sugar using a teaspoon and roll to coat dough. Place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-11 minutes and let cool.
