One of my favorite sushi restaurants makes an amazing garlic edamame appetizer. It's so incredibly simple but so so good and I can't figure out why I never thought to make it at home until this week. All it takes is some edamame, olive oil, garlic, and then if you like things spicy you can add red pepper flakes. That's it and trust me when I say it will be gone before you know it.

Optional: Add 1/4-1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes to the oil when you add the garlic for a spicier version.
