It’s a very hot morning. Like wake up sweaty and sticky kind of morning. Like wake up realizing my plan of showering last night so I could sleep in this morning has been sabotaged kind of morning. Like I am definitely going to be late kind of morning. But it is also a delicious morning, full of creamy coconut and cantaloupe. Completely refreshing and perhaps my new favorite morning smoothie. Feel free to mix up the ingredients it would be delicious with mango, honeydew melon, guava, or pineapple I think. It would also probably be delicious with a little dark rum. Just a thought. This lovely recipe came from this amazing blog, How Sweet Eats.

Ingredients

US METRICS
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup light canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup non fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups cantaloupe, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg

Throw everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Divide between two glasses and garnish with fresh cantaloupe.
