Add the tomatoes, basil, and vinegar to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil over medium high heat.
Add the garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and just tender. Add to tomatoes.
Add your egg to the pan and cook to your liking.
Serve the tomatoes over the egg. For warm tomatoes, add them to the pan with the garlic for 2-3 minutes and then toss with basil and vinegar.
