Directions

  1. Wash and scrub the sweet potato to remove any dirt.
  2. Option 1: Pierce the sweet potato with a fork or knife. Microwave for 5-7 minutes until tender. For cooking multiple potatoes, plan on cooking potatoes for 10-15 minutes depending on your microwave strength. To ensure even cooking, cook in 5 minute increments, flipping potatoes every 5 minutes.
  3. Option 2: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Pierce the sweet potato with a fork or knife. Spray the outside with cooking spray or brush with oil. Place on a baking sheet and cook for 45-60 minutes until tender.
