It helps you to end cravings and bad habits, detox from sugar and other unhealthy ingredients, and begin building healthy habits. It also helps with metabolism, inflammation, and gives a kick start to your digestive health.

Benefits from completing a Whole30:

  • Ending cravings for sugar and carbohydrates
  • Increased energy levels
  • Better sleep
  • Creating a better relationship with food
  • And so much more

The Whole30, Lightened Up

This Whole30 meal plan is different than what you would typically find. While many Whole30 meal plans can be high calorie and fat, this plan is built a little differently. The recipes we include are meant to be lighter since we found that was what many people wanted.

Rather than build our meals around fattier cuts of meat, butter, bacon, and richer ingredients – we focus on lean proteins, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, and healthy fats in moderation since that is how we like to eat long term. We also include the calorie counts and Weight Watchers Freestyle SmartPoints since we found many people were seeking them out and wanted the extra information.

This also allows you to stick to your current diet (whether it be Weight Watchers or specific daily calorie goals) and do the Whole30 at the same time. You get all the benefits of the Whole30, detoxing from sugar, carbs, and processed foods - while sticking to what works for you.

What kinds of recipes are included?

This Whole30 meal plan has been specifically designed to feature easy to make, approachable, and family-friendly meals. No one has time to prepare multiple meals, so these dishes are universally delicious and can be eaten by the whole family.  The meal plan contains four weeks of recipes plus bonus recipes.

Additionally, the meal plan utilizes leftover and batch cooking to make meal prep easier. Breakfast recipes are often prepared on the weekends (like the egg muffins below) and many recipes have items that can be prepared in advance. For lunches, we utilize leftovers in new and exciting ways to make lunch quick, easy, and delicious. But don't worry! You defintiely won't' be eating the same thing every day.

Here are some highlights from Week 1 to give you an idea of what to expect.

Why is it important to have a meal plan for the Whole30?

We know that eating healthy and the weekly scramble of grocery shopping and getting dinner on the table every night is hard. All too often when we don’t have a plan in place, we end up reaching for processed foods, take-out, or eating plain chicken breast for the fourth time in one week.

This couldn’t be more true when completing the Whole30. In fact, according to our readers, it’s the number one reason they haven’t succeeded in the past. Life gets busy and before they know it, it feels too hard to eat on the plan and they vow to try again in a few months.

The second reason? They get bored! I can’t tell you how many people have told us that in order to complete a Whole30 they basically ate the same three meals over and over again. Definitely not a recipe for success.

That’s why we have created this easy to follow, delicious Whole30 Meal Plan. It’s packed with tasty, family tested recipes that we know you will love. Trust us. As people who love food, we made sure to pack the plan with food that’s fun, super tasty, and never boring. Food should be fun and taste delicious and that’s absolutely possible on the Whole30.

We hope that by doing all the hard work of meal planning for you, we can make it easy to eat healthier, complete the Whole30 and enjoy meals without stress!

We can’t wait for you to get started!

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this Whole30 Meal Plan help with weight loss?

Over 95% of people experience weight loss when doing a Whole30. The amount varies greatly depending on your current weight, activity level, and eating habits. We hear from many people that they lose between 8-15 pounds, some even more.

Is this a good way to kickstart my weight loss or healthy eating plan?

We absolutely love this as a way to kickstart things! By eliminating carbs, sugar, and processed foods for an entire month you are able to end cravings for those foods and can make sticking to the plan long term easier. It's also a great way to change your relationship with food for the better. Also since many people lose a significant amount of weight during a Whole30, this is a great way to get motivated and see immediate progress.

Can I do Whole30 and Weight Watchers?

Absolutely! As long as you focus on compliant foods and recipes and continue to count points, you can easily do a Whole30 and continue to follow Weight Watchers. Having a meal plan can help here. Since many Whole30 recipes out there aren't necessary Whole30 friendly, we have done the hard work of finding recipes that work for both.

How many servings are there for the recipes?

All the recipes are based on two servings. This is to make it as easy as possible to adjust for other needs and family sizes. If you only need it for one person, you can easily cut the recipes and shopping list in half. If you are cooking for four, simply double everything. If you have an odd number, like 3 or 5, we recommend making the extra portions. Remember, on Whole30 you shouldn't be hungry so it can be helpful to have some extra leftovers or larger servings available.
