I finally caved this week and had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte. For someone who normally drinks their coffee with just a splash of cream, this is a major (and delicious!) departure from my routine. I also caved this week and trekked over to the local Trader Joe's. Let me just tell you - fall has landed and more specifcially, pumpkin has landed. Trader Joe's is stocked to the brim with pumpkin treats. Here are some of my favorites so far. What are your favorites? Don't have a Trader Joe's near you. This stuff is delicious whether you really love pumpkin or not. It's kind of like an apple butter with underlying flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin. Spread it on toast, waffles, pancakes, or stir it into oatmeal or yogurt and it makes a delicious treat.
It seems like every blogger is talking up this pumpkin body butter and for good reason. Its affordable, smells great, and helps keep dry winter skin at bay. Better yet -it is probably one of the only pumpkin treats that won't affect your waistline.
This Greek yogurt is a little higher in points and calories than typical yogurt, but it is delicious and a quick snack, breakfast, or dessert. You could make your own pumpkin yogurt at home as well, but in my opinion this yogurt is one of the better pumpkin flavored yogurts out there.
I am always looking for healthy and easy protein sources and this cooked turkey breast is a welcome addition. Delicious in salads, wraps, tacos, and stirfrys - this fully cooked turkey is a great substitute for chicken breast for a quick meal or snack.
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this but it was surprisingly delicious. On crackers, bread, bagels, or crumbled into salad it makes a great sweet addition with fall flavors.
