Best of 2013: Healthy Crockpot Recipes

By Kristen Mccaffrey on
Y’all love you some crockpot recipes and I can’t blame you, they are one of my absolute favorites. I mean what could be better than throwing some healthy ingredients in the slow cooker and then having an absolutely delicious meal 4-8 hours later with hardly any work? You can usually find me making up a big batch of something delicious in the slow cooker on Sundays and then using that for dinner Sunday and then as lunches during the week. (Sound like a good healthy eating strategy? Our weekly meal plans are set up with slow cooker meals almost every Sunday.) My personal favorite in this list is probably the Chicken Tinga because it is incredibly versatile, but the Italian Beef is a close second. Did you favorite make the list?
