Sunday Slow Cooker:  Low Carb Crockpot Recipes

My slow cooker broke this past week so instead of a new recipe, I thought I would pull together some of my favorite low carb slow cooker recipes. When I have followed a low carb diet in the past, the slow cooker has actually been a lifesaver. Making up a few batches of low carb proteins to have during the week saved me from reaching for a carb heavy option. Over a quick salad, wrapped in some lettuce or kale leaves, served up with a quick side of veggies and I could create a quick and satisfying meal or snack. All of these recipes have less than 10 grams of carbohydrates per serving, many with under 5g.

    Trying the Butter Chicken recipe. It sounds wonderful!

    I think slow cooker recipes are great for making low carb meals. Since you get a lot of flavor you don’t have to add any extra fat or salt to make food taste good.
