Is it wrong to dream up imaginary errands just for an excuse to eat a delicious gyro from the stand down the street? ….because that’s what I do all too much … we must need paper towels, and oh, how about a gyro? With that, I knew there must be a better way and begin testing at home gyro recipes. I tried recipes with beef, lamb, turkey, and chicken (all of which were delicious) but perhaps my favorite was the chicken version based of one of Alton Brown’s recipes. Serve it up in a warm pita with some skinny tzatziki – delicious.

Do the points plus include the pita that it’s on? I don’t see it listed in the ingredients.
The points listed do not include the pita. I used a whole wheat pita that had 2 points plus with mine.
I tried this with the SKinny Tzatziki and it was amazing! I love being able to eat without guilt!
