I have been dreaming about these pumpkin rice crispy treats ever since I made them. And if you are anything like me you will, and should, sneak at least a few warm spoonfuls right out of the pot when they are absolutely delicious, warm, and gooey. The idea for this recipe came to me while I was thinking of creative ways to use pumpkin this fall and decided a rice crispy treat would be a great vehicle. The recipe is simple, just add some pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices to the marshmallows, and then fold in the rice crispies. However one note on this recipe they are best eaten right when you make them and get stale quickly due to the pumpkin in the recipe. So make sure to have some friends or family around to share with or cut the recipe down.
