Love fried fish but hate the carbs and calories? This simple faux fried fish dish that is oven baked and coated in almond meal is the perfect substitution. My favorite way to serve it up is with some crispy vegetable fries for a healthier version of fish and chips.

  • 24 oz Cod (or other white fish)
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup almond meal
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Season fish with salt and pepper. Coat the fish lightly with mustard and then almond meal.
  3. Place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for about 20 minutes until fish is flaky.
