When January hits everyone seems to be on the hunt for detox juices and smoothies. While I usually try to drink green smoothies and juices on year, I definitely up my game in January and focus on getting more greens. This easy smoothie features blueberries, kale, peanut butter and chia seeds for protein, and unsweetened almond milk. You could use whatever fruit you like or have on hand - pineapple, mango, strawberries, banana, or peaches would all be delicious.

  • 3/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup ice

  1. Blend everything until smooth. For less powerful blenders, start with the kale and almond milk. Blend that until smooth and then add everything else.
