I have been craving banana bread lately but summer finally hit LA and it has been hot the past couple days. So instead of heating up the kitchen cooking banana bread, I decided to whip up a simple ice cream using last year’s internet favorite banana ice cream recipe. The recipe is simply bananas that are frozen for 1-2 hours and then blended into a creamy consistency like ice cream. Blend or add your favorite extras and have a delicious and guilt free frozen treat. This recipe, which mimics the flavors of banana bread, has walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and a touch of cloves.
