Like anyone on Weight Watchers, I eat a lot of salad either as a main dish or with my meals and at least for me, many times the salad dressing is what makes it delicious as opposed to just a plate of chopped veggies. However, as we all know, salad dressing can quickly ruin any salad and make it a diet nightmare.
- Galeo’s Miso Salad Dressings: I love all of Galeo’s dressing but my favorite is the classic Sesame Seed dressing. It is delicious on just about any salad and also works great for an Asian inspired cole slaw. At just 22 calories per tablespoon, with a gram of fiber, it’s a great option. This is also the same dressing you see contestants on the Biggest Loser constantly using. The only downside is that it is difficult to find in stores, so you probably will have to order it online – but believe me it’s worth it.
- Newman’s Own Lighten Up Sesame Ginger Dressing: Another great Asian inspired salad dressing that only boasts 35 calories per two tablespoon serving. I love this on almost anything, especially green salads with chicken, sugar snap peas, scallions, and bean sprouts.
- Kraft Greek Vinaigrette with Extra-Virgin Olive Oil : This dressing only contains 50 calories per two tablespoon serving and has all the great flavors of a delicious Greek dressing without all the fat and calories. Perfect for Greek salads, marinating meat, and low calorie pasta salad.
- Litehouse Salsa Ranch Dressing & Dip: I tend to shy away from creamy dressing, although I love them, but this one totally works for both salads and dipping. It is a creamy ranch with a kick. It only has 60 calories per 2 tablespoons and will fool almost any ranch fan.
- Bernstein’s Light Fantastic Roasted Garlic Balsamic: As someone who loves garlic, this dressing is a staple for me with only 45 calories per serving. It is great on salads and also I use it all the time on sandwiches.
