Trust me here – frozen cookies, no baking involved. They are a perfect substitute for my perennial favorite frozen candy bar. I grew up in a household where all chocolate candy was consumed frozen. Yum. Not only are they delicious, they are loaded with healthy ingredients like oats, flax seeds, chia seeds, bananas, and dark chocolate. They only take a few minutes to whip together and provide a perfect little frozen dessert, at one 1 point per serving. Scoop some vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt in between, or break the cookies on top, even better.

These cookies are 2 points ….not 1 A lot of oint values changed this year. If you are a weight watcher…check the nutritional info on your calculator.
Thanks so much for the comment. I did not include the bananas in the calculation but you are right, if they are included it is 2 points per cookie. I will update the recipe to reflect both counts since I know people have differing opinions on whether to count 0 point food in recipes or not. Thanks!
So what’s your take on counting 0-point foods in recipes? I’m so torn…especially with bananas since they hike up the points significantly in most recipes. For example, my 1pt tortilla with 1 pt Better N Peanut Butter snack should only be 2 pts, but add a banana and it’s 5 pts! What are your thoughts on fruit and veggies being “0″ with the new PP+ system?
Thanks! Just made these and they’re cooling in the freezer!
Can you use flax seed oil in the recipe
I have never tried it but I imagine it would work.
Can you taste the banana in these? I really don’t like bananas. Or do you think they could be made without the banana?
