Friday Five: Healthy Popsicles for Hot Summer Days

It’s official. Summer is here as I sit sweating in front of my computer dreaming about eating popsicles for breakfast. (We’ll get there in a minute!) They are one of my favorite summer treats and with a set of popscile molds (I love these ones and will probably be ordering these very soon for homemade push pops) you can make your own delicious and healthy creations at home. My personal favorite – any type of healthy yogurt pop for breakfast. Just blend some nonfat Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and chia seeds/nuts/protein powder and you have a delicious frosty breakfast treat.

Here are some of my favorite popsicle recipes. What are your favorite combinations?

1. Raspberry Cheesecake Popsicles, 142 calories, 4 Weight Watchers PointsPlus® (and here is a Coffee version as well)

2. Frozen Coconut Mango Popiscles from Skinny Taste, 68 calories, 2 Weight Watchers PointsPlus® (checkout these yummy Berry Yogurt Pops too!)

3. Chocolate Raspberry Pudding (!!) Pops from Emily Bites, 56 calories, 1 Weight Watchers PointsPlus® (and these Sangria popsicles – you had me at red wine popsicle….)

4. Watermelon Ice Pops from Eat Yourself Skinny, 78 calories, 2 Weight Watchers PointsPlus

5. Black Bean Fudgsicles (just try them!), 139 calories, 3 Weight Watchers PointsPlus®
