After last week's Friday Five on Weight Loss Tools & Products, I got lots of emails sharing YOUR favorite foods, tools, products, and more to make weight loss and healthy living easier. Since there were so many amazing suggestions, I thought this week I would share some of YOUR favorite things, so here goes!
1. PB2 Powdered Low Calorie Chocolate Peanut Butter
Last week I shared how much I loved regular PB2 and rightfully so many of you immediately reached out telling me of your love for PB2 Chocolate Peanut Butter. Mixed with nonfat yogurt, milk, and a frozen banana and you have one of the best smoothies around. It is also delicious on pancakes, waffles, and with fruit. Oh and did I mention it's just 1 point and 45 calories per serving. Win!
2. Quest Protein Bars (Low Carb)
I have lots of mixed opinions about energy/protein bars but every once in awhile they serve as a great snack or meal replacement and from your emails it is clear that Quest is by far your favorite. With under 200 calories, 18 g of fiber, and 20g of protein and flavors like Cook Dough, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Lemon Creme, and Strawberry Cheesecake - they make a great option.
3. Jillian Michael Fitness Videos
In terms of exercise videos, Jillian Michael's is definitely your favorite, especially the 30 Day Shred videos and workouts. For just $6.99 it's a great investment in starting a workout routine from home without an expensive gym membership or trainer.
4. Swerve Sweetener and Stevia
With so many people following low carb diets, it is no surprise that these two no calorie, no carb sweeteners made the list. Made from natural ingredients they pack a sweet punch without the same artificial taste and chemicals as many other no calorie sweeteners..
5. Waterfi Waterproof iPod and Headphones
I never knew these existed but now I am saving up for one. I love swimming as a low impact exercise that burns lots of calories and build muscle, but I miss being able to listen to things when I work out. I can't wait to strap one of these on and listen to my favorite podcasts in the pool or ocean.
