I am a bit embarrassed to admit my love for cheesy snack foods. And I don't mean the real deal snacks made with cheese (although I love those as well) - but instead the leave your fingers orange, packaged, sometimes artificial cheesy kind of snack. So today let's talk about the best of best when it comes to cheesy snacks that won't ruin your diet. What are your favorites?
I just had these pops for the first time a couple of weeks ago and am pretty impressed. They come in all sorts of flavors and are only 15 calories per pop. It's low calorie, low carb, and has lots of crunch. Think about it sort of like an improved version of a rice cake. They are perfect for building sandwiches, breaking up to dip, or just eating on their own. Unfortunately these can be hard to find in stores right now, so ordering online may be the best option.
Although I am in the minority of people who don't love popchips, I do love these Cheesy Jalapeno Popcorners. They bring a nice amount of spice and cheese flavor with a good amount of crunch. I usually stick towards the individual sized serving bags so not to overindulge. It is incredibly easy to down a whole bag in one sitting.
These airy cheese crackers are like puffed up triangles and are full of cheddar cheese flavor. They are also gluten free and commonly get compared to Cheeze-its. For just 120 calories per cup, they make a great snack.
Normally I stay away from gluten free crackers because I don't love the texture, but these crackers are delish. You are able to eat a full 30 crackers per serving so they feel like a substantial snack.
What can I say, I will always always always love the Baked Cheeto!
