Banana Bread Ice Cream

I have been craving banana bread lately but summer finally hit LA and it has been hot the past couple days. So instead of heating up the kitchen cooking banana bread, I decided to whip up a simple ice cream using last year’s internet favorite banana ice cream recipe. The recipe is simply bananas that are frozen for 1-2 hours and then blended into a creamy consistency like ice cream. Blend or add your favorite extras and have a delicious and guilt free frozen treat. This recipe, which mimics the flavors of banana bread, has walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and a touch of cloves.

This was delicious! I tried the blender at first because I thought it would be easier to clean up. Had to break out the food processor but it was worth it!!! I only had 3 bananas (vice 4) but it was good and I added FF whipped cream on top.
